NICK(IT) EMBASSY OF STYLE

While working as an art director at Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners, Nick Graham (founder of Joe Boxer) asked the agency to create a mind-bending site for his new clothing line Nick(i)t. We created a virtual “Embassy of Style” that allowed visitors to explore the space featuring several characters including an alien, bulldog, beef eater and Nick Graham, also known as “The Lord of the Balls”. When the different rooms were explored, a fictional back story filled with tongue-in-cheek British humor would unfold. The embassy included a dressing room, a Cockney to English translator, a Croquet mini game and a virtual history book. The aesthetic of the site is inspired by the quirky collages of Terry Gilliam. For this site I created the idea, designed and art directed the look as well as programmed the entire mechanics and animations in Flash. The site was a Cannes Cyberlions finalist.
